Sanatana Dharma Paripalana Seva Trust NZ (SDPST NZ) initiative "Sri Srinivasa Swamy Kalyana Mahotsavam 2025" for seeking the blessing of Lord Venkateswara Swamy for the Loka Kshemam, Universal peace, prosperity and opportunity for everyone to propagate the importance of Sanatana Dharma, i.e., the Hindu way of life.

Dharma Pracharam is the core part of the Srinivasa Kalyanam, the celestial wedding of Sri Srinivasa Swamy, which is conducted according to Hindu Vedic tradition and traditional wedding music. 

We are delighted to invite you to this year’s Sri Srinivasa Kalyana Mahotsavam (SSKM 2026), to be held on Saturday, 9 May 2026.

This is our temple’s flagship event and a special opportunity for our community to come together. The programme will include cultural activities such as singing and dancing, and will also offer opportunities for volunteering and sponsorship.

We warmly invite you to attend with family and friends and receive the blessings of Sri Venkateswara Swamy of Wellington.

The annual Kalyana Mahotsavam is conducted  every new year to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara and provides an opportunity for devotees to sponsor, participate and volunteer for the Kalyana Mahotsavam by:

Given the current economic situation, we understand that everyone may be feeling some pressure. At the same time, we hope to continue the tradition of celebrating this event as in previous years.

You can take part in the Kalyanam with:  

• $51 per family - Kalyanam Sankalpam (Vivaha  karta)

• $101 if you would like to offer Annadanam.

• If you are able, you may choose to contribute as a Yajamana (Varan/Vadhu sponsor) for $251 per family.

• For those who may find it difficult, free registration is available, and you are welcome to contribute any amount you feel comfortable with.

As we continue our fundraising efforts for the Temple Build, we sincerely appreciate your support in any way you can.

Kalyanams are joyful occasions. We encourage everyone to come dressed in traditional attire. We are living in times where our Sanatana Dharma is being tested. In moments like these, having a place that upholds our traditions and values is important for all of us, especially for our youth and children

All donations will go to the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple of Wellington (SVWT).
