About The Event
Adi Shankaracharya Jayanti is an important Hindu festival that celebrates the birth anniversary of Adi Shankaracharya, a great Indian philosopher and theologian credited with reviving and popularizing Advaita Vedanta, one of the major schools of Hindu philosophy. Adi Shankaracharya is also known for his contributions to developing the concept of Hindu monasticism and establishing four prominent mutts or monasteries in India. We observe the festival with great reverence and devotion to our Gurus, offer prayers and seek his blessings for a fulfilling life with knowledge and wisdom.
On this day - Swarathmika NZ School of Music Students and their Guru, Smt Gayathri Dharmarajan, will offer prayers with Bhajans.
