MAHALAYA - PITHRU PAKSHA

During this period, on Saturday, 24 September, Sanatana Dharma Paripalana Seva Trust has organised a short event to help our devotees to observe the day in gratitude to our ancestors.

There will be a short discourse on Pithru Paksha - its significance and how it is observed. We have organised bags containing Rice, Green Bananas and Jaggery - the traditional Dhanam offered to Brahmins when doing Hiranya Shrardham. Each pack will cost $10, which you can purchase and offer as Dhaanam. You could also get these items from your home if you wish. You could offer these and Dakshina to the priest.
