Navaratri Festival at SVWT


Join us at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple of Wellington (SVWT) for the grand celebration of the Navaratri Festival from Friday, 4th October, to Sunday, 13th October, 2024. This 10-day festival is a time of devotion, celebration, and community, concluding on Vijayadasami Day with special rituals for children.


We invite you to celebrate the sacred Navaratri festival with daily Bhajans and Vishesha Pooja from 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM, followed by Maha Deeparadhana and Theertha Prasadam.



Friday, 4th October>> Kalashsthapana, Sri Lalitha Sahasranama Archana, Vishesha Pooja, and Aarathi.

Saturday, 5th October >> Bhajans by Vijay Mandali & Parivar

Sunday, 6th October >> Sai Group Ashika

Monday, 7th October>> Swaraatmika NZ School Music - Smt Gayathri Dharmarajan and Children

Tuesday, 8th October>> Namasankeertanam Group - Smt Prabha Ravi and Namasankeetanam Group

Wednesday, 9th October>>Srichakra School Music and Dane - Smt Radhika Ravi and Children

Thursday, 10th October>> Saraswati Bhajan Mandali - Shri Trishul Naidu and Parivar

Friday, 11th October>> Guru Kripa Music School, Wellington - Smt Aishwarya Srinivasan and Children

Saturday, 12th October >> Bhajans Urmila Sharma and Parivar

Sunday, 13th October (Vijayadasami Day), Aksharabhyasam and Vidyarambham


We encourage devotees to bring flowers, fruits, and sweets as offerings. As it’s school holidays, we especially invite families to bring their children to the temple, let them experience the Golu, and immerse them in the festival, tradition, and cultural values.
